More About La Garenne Gites
Our stunning location in Morbihan, Brittany and quartet of holiday cottages will leave you bedazzled by their beauty. The cottages are over 200 years old and date back to 1784. Up until only 40 or 50 years ago, it was a self-sufficient ‘petit hameau’, or little hamlet, home to one farming family and its workers.
When you visit us you will find its best features in much the same state as they were when they were built all those years ago - the original cider press, well, bread ovens and stone walls. The cottages and items have all been meticulously restored and maintained. Inside each gite you will find photos from the 1970s, which show this historic hamlet still alive with the Breton farmers wearing their wooden clogs!
These special cottages are an undoubtedly irresistible choice for your next vacation. Untainted by the hustle and bustle of our day to day lives, it will provide you with a true, inimitable escape, in short, an out-of-this-world experience.
