We are really excited to welcome back a very special member of staff! Amy started working for Bridge End Farm Cottages on a Saturday morning when she was 15 and still at school. She soon after became our housekeeper and was responsible for the cleaning and quality control at Bridge End at the tender age of just 17, not long after she passed her driving test! Amy did an amazing five years with us and many of you will have met her during those years. She is quiet and unassuming but super organised and thorough. There were never any quality issues in Amy’s 5 year tenure at Bridge End. Two years ago lured by the draw of Sellafield Amy left us to try her hand in the corporate world. We were very sad to lose her but understood she needed to move on. She was still only 22 and needed to experience the big world out there. Two years on and during what has been a very busy summer, Amy kindly helped us out over a few weekends and in doing so she realised how much she missed the cottages and enjoyed working at Bridge End.
Cutting a long story short, we are delighted to announce that Amy is back. She started on 1st November and will be both our manager and housekeeper at Bridge End with more responsibility for maintenance, quality and client liaison. We are really excited to have Amy back in our team and to have her lovely smile back at the cottages. I'm sure you will be seeing Amy when you visit, do feel free to ask her for any help or advice during your holiday!
